Przestrzeń sypialni wypełnia intensywne pomarańczowe światło, które wpada przez okna na poddaszu, zlokalizowane po obu stronach rorbu. Spoglądam przez szybę; góry na wprost mnie mają nasycone barwy – od żółtego przez pomarańcz po czerwień. Przywodzą na myśl Ayers Rock (Uluru) – świętą skałę Aborygenów.
Zbiegam po schodach, narzucam na siebie sweter, wciskam na głowę kapelusz i otwieram drzwi wychodzące na taras przy samym morzu. Barwy malowane przez światło wschodzącego słońca, ciemne chmury nadciągające z naprzeciwka, pierwsze krople deszczu, tęcza i absolutna cisza – zapowiada się potężny sztorm, który tego dnia nadciągnie na Archipelag Północy.
Ballstad. Godziny poranne.
– Widziałeś to?! – krzyczę do Marcina, za każdym razem widząc rozmaite przedmioty dosłownie przelatujące obok naszych okien.
Wiatr wiejący z prędkością znacznie przekraczającą 100 kilometrów na godzinę sprawia, że kabina, w której jesteśmy, zdaje się za moment podzielić los owych przedmiotów przelatujących za oknami, nawet jeśli nie w całości, to we fragmentach. Potężne huki, świsty i ulewny deszcz, który niesiony wiatrem pada poziomo. Poranek zlewa się z wieczorem, szarość, granat i odcinająca się biel domków zdają się jedynymi kolorami, jakie na te dni natura przewidziała w palecie barw. Zważywszy na ostrzeżenia i komunikaty o pozostaniu w domach, książki, karty, gorące napary, świece i stworzenie pozornej oazy spokoju zdają się najlepszą opcją na najbliższe dni.

5 Days of a Photographic Adventure in the Lofoten Islands
Lofoten. Some call it the most beautiful place on Earth, and we call it home. A unique archipelago above the Arctic Circle, in northern Norway, where the sun never sets in summer, and in autumn, winter, and spring, the northern lights illuminate the Arctic sky. Breathtaking landscapes, untouched nature, rugged peaks rising above the ocean, wild, paradise-like beaches, and cozy rorbuer with a crackling fire in the fireplace. The dynamic weather sometimes allows us to experience all four seasons in a single day, and within minutes, like in a kaleidoscope, the scenes shift as if by the press of a button: rainbow, rain, sunshine, snow, northern lights! We watch moose strolling outside our windows, orcas perfecting their hunting techniques, and whales passing by in the distance.
We will share many beautiful stories with you—by the fireplace, by candlelight, over coffee or hot chocolate and homemade cinnamon rolls. We will show you the hidden gems of Lofoten, including those known only to locals. Together, we will experience the magic, and most importantly… Because that is the essence of this journey—we will lead a boutique, extraordinary adventure to Lofoten combined with photography workshops.

Dzień po dniu (ramowy program)
Dzień 1
Zameldowanie po godzinie 15.00. Czas na rozpakowanie się, poznanie się. Kolacja. Panel teoretyczny o Lofotach mało znanych, pełnych tajemnic: „Bogowie, wikingowie i ukryte skarby – tajemnice Lofotów”. Wieczorna wędrówka na Haugheia.
Dzień 2
Śniadanie. Wyprawa na Offersøykammen oraz do jaskini. Obiad w Leknes. Czas na zrobienie zakupów. Powrót do Kræmmervika Havn. Panel fotograficzny: 1/ Podstawowa wiedza fotograficzna – o aparatach, obiektywach, o świetle, kompozycji
2/ Storytelling w fotografii podróżniczej i lifestyle – czyli jak opowiadać historie, kreować emocje malując je zdjęciami
3/ Znaczenie informacji w fotografii podróżniczej (lokalizacje, skąd czerpać inspiracje, interpretacja danych pogodowych, analiza map). Kolacja. Wieczorna wędrówka na Ballstadheia i Nonstinden.
Dzień 3
Śniadanie. Zajęcia teoretyczne i praktyczne dla osób chcących poznać tajniki latania dronem. Wyjazd w stronę Reine – poszukiwanie orek i odwiedzenie najbardziej znanych punktów na Lofotach. Obiad w Anitas Seafood. Wyprawa kajakowa w Reinefjorden. Powrót do Kræmervika Havn. Kolacja / ognisko.
Dzień 4
Śniadanie. Odwiedzenie plaż – Haukland, Uttakleiv, możliwość kąpieli w morzu. Wyprawa na Mannen. Obiad w Leknes. Możliwość zrobienia zakupów. Zajęcia teoretyczne dla Instafreaków: Tworzenie Instagram Feed oraz portfolio – o budowaniu tożsamości i marki w sieci, w jaki sposób wyceniać swoją pracę na Instagramie. Sauna. Kolacja. Wieczorna wędrówka.
Dzień 5
Śniadanie. Czas dla siebie. Wymeldowanie przed godziną 11:00.
Powyższy program jest ramowym harmonogramem naszej wyprawy. W związku z tym, że Lofoty cechują się dynamicznymi warunkami atmosferycznymi, zastrzegamy sobie prawo do jego zmiany.
Accomodation
Lofoten is an archipelago connected by bridges and underwater tunnels, located in the northern part of Norway (Nordland), beyond the Arctic Circle. Here, you’ll find two towns (Leknes and Svolvær) and fishing villages. One of our favorite spots has been chosen as the main base for the workshop – Henningsvær. We will stay at Trevarefabrikken, a hotel built in a former factory building. It’s here that we’ll conduct the theoretical part of the workshop, enjoy a sauna with a stunning view, sit by candlelight discussing photography, travel, and the Lofoten Islands, and celebrate our shared breakfasts together.

Thematic Modules
Life in the north has always been closely tied to the rhythms of nature and weather conditions. The constant changes—dramatic light, strong winds, and storms—enhance the beauty of our frames but also make days unpredictable. Plans often need to be adjusted multiple times a day.
But don’t worry—we are fully prepared for this! :) Instead of a rigid schedule, we will adapt our activities to ensure that both outdoor and theoretical sessions align with the weather conditions. For example, if a storm rolls in, we will stay cozy in our rorbu, diving into the intricacies of digital editing.

Martyna
A photographer, filmmaker, traveler, and blogger who blends her passion for photography and love for nature into inspiring stories about the North. She shares her life beyond the Arctic Circle and travels across Nordic countries, documenting the raw beauty of their landscapes.
Her work is not just about capturing stunning visuals but also about telling stories of living in harmony with nature, far from the noise of everyday life. She inspires others to embrace sustainable travel and discover the magic of everyday moments in the most beautiful corners of the North.
Martyna has been passionate about photography from a young age, seeing the world through carefully composed frames. Her work reflects a deep love for nature—cold seas, wild landscapes, snow, and stormy weather. In 2023, together with Marcin, she published the collector’s album “Projekt Północ”, the result of years of traveling through Nordic countries. She is also the co-founder of Sea Salt and Snow Studio.
In photography, beyond light, she values storytelling and capturing fleeting, unexpected moments of magic in daily life. She specializes in travel, lifestyle, and commercial photography and filmmaking. Commercially, she has collaborated with numerous international and Polish brands and participated in unique projects, including Visit Estonia, Zamek Książ, Bachleda Luxury Hotel, Sheraton, Mitsubishi Motors, Samsung, Pandora, Nespresso, La Roche-Posay, Fjällräven, Yves Rocher, and more.
Marcin
A photographer and drone pilot, deeply inspired by nature—and flavors. Passionate about Nordic landscapes, he loves playing with light. For years, he has also worked commercially in digital marketing.
An exceptional researcher, he can spend hours observing wildlife, patiently waiting for reindeer, moose, orcas, and whales. A true coffee enthusiast and flavor creator, as well as a history lover.
Together with Martyna, he has participated in various commercial projects, including Visit Estonia, Zamek Książ, Bachleda Luxury Hotel, Bridgestone, Odkryj Auto, and Camp Ripan.
